No Heat Using Vision 8000 Therm.
I just hooked up a VisionPRO 8000 Series Tstat. Everything lit up and seemed to be working last night. Today I got curious and turned the heat up to 85 degrees, and no heat was coming out of my registers. I called Honeywell and since I'm not a "Pro" they would not help me. The old thermostat was a Janitrol with the wiring as follows:
    Y - Yellow
    G - Green
    R - Red
    O - Black
    W2 - White
    C - Blue

So I hooked up the Vision 8000 as follows
    R- Red
    O/B - Black
    Y - Yellow
    G - Green
    C - blue
    Aux - White

I have a heat pump on my system, so I wired it as according to the wire diagram. I did not have it set in the "installers menu" to Electric Furnace in program 0180, but then I turned it on, and it still did not work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I hooked up the old Tstat for now until I can get a clear answer. I don't want to mess anything up, and it is Nov. so its getting a little cold out. Thanks for all the help in advance!

There are lots of VP models. Which one do you have?

A heat pump is a heat pump. It's not an electric furnace.

Im sorry for not putting that in there. It is a TH8320U1008.
The code 0180 from the installation manual says for "Fan Control" (heating) use 0 for Gas/Oil or 1 for Electric furnace. Maybe I shouldn't have turned on that option?

Fan control should be 1, and the reason why is with oil and gas, the furnace controls the fan. With a heat pump, the thermostat controls the fan. In AC mode the thermostat controls the Fan.

R and Rc Need to be jumped together (Factory config). This becomes R.

Use the System Test mode, to make sure it's connected properly. Configuring is something all together.

    Manuals are Here BTW.

1995 Eagle Vision Heat stopped working [ 2 Answers ]

I'm looking for any info on the reasoning why the Heat would stop working. I have a feeling it has to do with the electrical. I don't have the manual and I'm having trouble finding one free online. I need to check the fuses for a start, but much after that is beyond me. Any advice??
