    How can I make Mata UJDA720 Secondary Master?
    Help! Please. Somebody out there must know how to rectify this.
    I have a Hi-Grade Notino R5400 laptop which has UJDA720 CD/DVD drive in it. I recently formatted the hard drive and did a fresh install of Windows XP and now it will no longer boot from CD. It did this fine before I formatted. My BIOS only detects Primary & Secondary Master and not Slave. This drive is shown as Secondary Slave on Nero Info Tool. I have not flashed this drive. All I did was format the hard drive so I am thinking it must be software related. Is there software that would configure it to Master which I would have lost on format. That's the only thing I can think as I've done nothing else.
    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Two steps for setting of primary master or slave and secondary master or slave:
    1. First if you want to make master or slave, you need to do jumper setting on the back of side of your drive according to instructions displayed.

    2. If you want to make primary master or slave and secondary master or slave then along with jumper setting, you need two data cables for your devices which you have to attach on different slots or socket or primary slot and secondary slot then it will deduct slave also.
