Since it's now March I'm guessing the ladybugs died out over the winter. Let me recommend vaccuming all through the house, even up into attic dormers. Leftover insect carcasses can cause an acrid type odor as they decay. For next year, check the side of the house that the wind blows on very closely for small cracks, gaps in siding, joins between different building materials, etc. In the fall the last hatchings ride wind currents to find a place to overwinter. Seal up the entrances, tiny though they are, to keep this from happening again.
