Need to identify a pill urgently.
A friend of mine has been taking some sort of pill regularly... presumably some form of amphetamine... The effects were lack of sleep, lack of appetite, increase in his state of awareness, lock-jaw, dry mouth, lots of energy. The pill is white and round. On one side is the line that divides the pill in half and on the other side 2 half circles intertwined (looks like 2 letters "C" connected... one of them being back to front)... can anyone help me with identifying it. It could probably be a prescription drug for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). I am scared of the side effects and dosage...

Umm I don't know exactly how to say this but I have never seen a pill that has intertwined c's I think and don't count on this as truth but along with the symptomes it sounds like these pills may be ecasty

By the way with drugs like ecstacy the use designer emblems to help sell it better they call them designer drugs those inter twined c's are an emblem for chanell or how ever you spell it

I doubt that it could be ecstasy as it is a prescription drug and it is not that expensive. An ecstasy pill where I live costs around $82 and this one costs around $10.

    Hi, ciuciap!

Why not take one of the pills to a pharmacist, or if you can't go to a pharmacist and describe in detail about the pill rather than to have people keep guessing here? If your friend is having some sort of reactions due to taking the pills, then he or she might be in danger and needs to see a physician. Best not to be wasting time guessing then.

I care about what is happening to your friend and to be fair to you and your friend, I don't know what it is and I'm not going to try to guess what it is, even if I had some kind of drug reference in front of me that I thought was correct. I'm human and I make mistakes - I might read something incorrectly and/or copy and paste something incorrectly.

I don't know you and you don't know me. So, why would you think that what I had to say about the positive identification of it would be correct?

The sites that are specifically designed for the identification of pills would seem to be good. However, being absolutely sure of the proper identification of a pill might be something that could affect someone's life.

Best to be taking pills of any kind for proper identification and safe disposal, in person to a pharmacist, who you know and who can visit with you about it or them and then do whatever needs to be done.

This is a Medications forum. However, it doesn't specify nor guarantee any expertise by anyone here, as far as it being a pill identification forum.

Better to be safe than to be sorry!

    Thanks!
