I think this movie was made in the 70s or 80s. It was about a young family, father, mother, daughter and infant son. For some reason I think it was a post-apocalyptic theme.

They were attacked by a gang of mutated freaks and the family was hung from wire (I think barbed wire) to a well. The little daughter was told as long as she held the wire her family would live. Eventually the combined weight of the father, mother and son tore the wire from her little bleeding hands and they dropped to their doom. The leader of the gang told her to come with them after that because she didn't have a family anymore.

But the father survived, he crawled from the well, buried his wife and son and then went searching for his daughter. Years later he found the gang again and after a big fight the gang crucified him from a mast of a abandoned ship in what I think was a dried up ocean. I think she was tied to the leader of the gang with a dog collar and a leash??

Please help me, I would like to purchase it but with no title, no actors names and only my sketchy memory it is almost impossible. :confused:
