    R-410A Tubing
    I understand that the copper tubing wall thickness must be increased with the use of R-410A. Do you know what the wall thickness should be?

    Information should have come with your equipment,, its according to the size (tonage) I believe

    I am having a house built and the evaporator is in place but not condenser/compressor. I just want to verify the proper tubing was installed.

    Refrigeration tubing is sold differently than "tubing". Line size is required is specified in the equipment manuals. FWIW: The oils in R-22 and R-410 are not compatible.

    ASTM B280 Tube Sizes - Crane Copper Tube, manufacturer and international supplier of plumbing, refrigeration, air-conditioning and medical gas copper tube

    The standard is ASTM B-280. You can also use this number to gain more info.

    The wall thickness will vary along with the O.D. size of the copper tube.

    All refrigeration tube is O.D. sized. Boxed and identified for use on ACR systems.
