    Help with my two kittens
I have two kittens. They are sisters, they are about 4/5 months old but for some strangle reason one keeps sucking the other ones nipples. I am worried this will make her nipples sore, and why are they doing this? Please help if you can. Thank you x

It's okay, she is just dry nursing. Some cats will do that if they were weened too early. It is no big deal, and the other cat will let her know if she is hurting her. You can discourage the behavior, but odds are she will stop in her own time. My male cat did that for about 6 months on my forehead and earlobe at night. He is now almost a year old and virtually never does it. Some nights he will suck on the blankets, but not often anymore.

In my opinion this happens when they are weaned to early... if the one gets tired of it she will let the sis know it. I have a cat that is 3 years old that still suckle's the covers. I will end by saying please have them spayed or neutered.
