    Chapter 13, Potential Employment
    I filed a chapter 13 approximately 7 years ago. It has been discharged but still shows up on my credit report during background checks. Will this affect my chances for potential employment?

    It can depending on your line of work and or your place of employment.

    It will show up for another 3 years ( 10 years) it can effect some jobs, insurance agent for example, some companies will not license someone that has filed in a number of years.
