    Garnishment of an annuity in New Jersey
    I live in New Jersey and I have a large amount of unsecured debt. I have an annuity of $475. Per month before taxes. Can this money be garnished? I am retired.

    Depends on the nature and terms of the annuity. If its income from an investment its may be. Also once its deposited in your bank account the account can be attached.
