    I'm not exactly sure what you're asking here. Are you meaning the length of time in hours for plants that require full-sun as compared to partial-sun?

    If the herbs are sun-loving varieties, then 14 to 16 hours a day of the proper light is generally recommended. However, even a minimum of four hours of the proper light per day may be enough to keep them alive.

    What kind of herbs are these, please?
