    heart pain
Hi have been receiving chest pains + pressure for 2 weeks. I had similar pain last year where I completed a x-ray and ecg which were fine. However in the last week I have got the pains again with pains in my back too and pressure across my chest. I am most bothered now however about the nearly constant fluttering pain in my heartnand the heart pain which feels like cramp and can occasionally make my heart beat faster. Very strange. My gp doesn't know what it is. Please advise. Thank you.

Check yourself in an emergency room while it's happening.

I have a lot of experience with chest pain, and it is important to know how old you are, if you have ever had a diagnosis of heart disease(includes high blood pressure), or other diseases that cause pain in the chest area such as heartburn.

Yes and when does the pain occur, during exercise, while at rest, or does it wake you up at night?
Remember certain foods can act like medicines. Eating too much or suddenly stopping eating things your body is used to can cause a reaction. Too much celery and your potassium is too high, too much salt, nitrates in lunchmeats or hotdogs can affect the heart. Additives and preservatives that you could be allergic to. Pollutants in your water or bad air quality/ozone action days etc. Best to keep pestering the doctors. For your own good.
