my menstruation are like this : 8 November 2007 , 3 December 2007 , 27 December 2007 , 14 January 2008 , 13 February 2008 , 11 march 2008 , 7 April 2008 , 4 mai 2008 , 2 June 2008 , 26 June 2008 , 21 jully 2008 , 15 August 2008 , 11 September 2008 and final one 9 October 2008... please tell me at which date will my ovulation occur? I am calculation my ovulation like this : cycle - 14 days my first menstruation was on 11 September 2008 and the second one was on 9 October 2008 and my cycle from September 11 to October 9 is 29 so I do 29 - 14 = 15 . So I calculate the first day that I had my menstruation 9 October 2008 and count 15 is that correct?? If not please tell me how can I calculate my ovulation.. tell me please please I need date when should my husband and I make love and which date should we stope please... if we had sex like on October 18 2008 and October 21 2008 and on October 23 and on October 24 and on October 26 and and on October 27 will I have a good chace of becoming pregnant?? And please one last think tell me when should I expext my next menstruation periode on November please... and when should I take a pregnency test?? Please pease tell me at which date should I have my ovulation and at which date my husband and I should have sex... please please I really need to become pregnant I traying for my 2 baby...

Your cycles vary a fair amount, but rough average is about 26 days or so. The only way to know for sure when you are ovulating is through blood work but you can get a rough idea, as well as watch for possible physical/emotional changes.

The 14 day rule only applies to someone with a 28 day cycle, which some women do have, but many do not. Even then, being too focused on just a small window can cause you to miss out.

General guide is 12-16 days before your next period will start, regardless of how long your cycle is... but since your cycles are not closer to a regular pattern you may want to go another route for getting a starting place. Taking 18 days off your shortest cycle and 11 days off your longest. Your odds are likely to be increased of conceiving if you are having sex on a regular basis from right after your period ends through about the 19th day of your cycle (day one is the first day of a period). I would even add a few days extra for good measure. Having sex every other day will also increase your odds, although I realize this is not always practical or desired for many couples.

It is important to remember that even with good timing, other factors play a role in conception. This is why it can take many couples a year or so to become pregnant when actively trying.
