    Student Loan and ex-spouse
My former husband agreed to fund my son's education but because his credit was bad I signed for the loan and he signed and had notorized a letter agreeing to pay this back. This was several years ago and he is in arrears and my credit is bad because of this. He keeps saying he's trying but obviosly not hard enough.
He is a physician and makes good money.
My question is what can I do to make him pay? We live in separate states.
Wouild this be expensive to do? Any advice?
    Thank you.

Well for starters you go back to court to have the support order enforced. Then you can sue him for the money as long as you have a copy of the letter from him saying he would pay you back for it it shouldn't bee too bad. If you want to save money then skip the lawyer because for starters for support the state is on your side and for the loan money you can include the court fees in your suit. These obviously have to be two separate court dates in different courts.
