    Heat not coming on
I recently purchased a 2000 model mobile home which had been vacant for approx. 3 years. My problem the A/C works fine but the heat will not come on. It is a split unit, the inside fan comes on but the outside unit does not come on in the heat cycle and no heat. Could it be a problem with the thermostat ? I do not think the unit is a hear pump.

Post brand and model number of your unit so we know what you have.

Is it gas or electric heat? Is it a heat pump or not?

We just moved into a home after a renovation. We have an oil furnace that blows forced air. Let me say that I would not recommend the contractor we used to screw in a light bulb. All inspections were done and we passed. However, after moving in, we noticed not all the ducts were going anywhere,...
