    Unadjusted and adjusted trial balance
    What is the major difference between that unadjusted trial balance and the adjusted trial balance?

    The unadjusted trial balance is used to ensure that your debits = credits before adjusting entries are made.

    The adjusted trial balance is used to ensure that debits = credits after the adjusting entries are made.
