    Parole Eligibility in Canada
    Hi all,

    What are the criteria for Parole in Canada? My (brief) Google search didn't yield much in the way of results (a lot of 'the goal is the protection of society... '). If you're serving a sentence of six months or less, do you even qualify for parole?

    Perhaps someone could provide a link to info? I've seen the Parole Board's website, but I've found nothing relevant.
