    Loss of hot water
A little over a week ago we replaced our water tank and replaced the hose that comes from the tank for the hot water. The pressure wasn't as strong as when we had the previous water tank but it worked OK none the less.so we finally had water. Then a few days later we lost pressure with the hot water but not the cold water. It was coming out in just a tiny stream. 2 days after that, now we don't have any hot water in the whole house, I turn on the water and nothing. I felt the hot water hose that comes out the top of the water heater and goes under the trailer and its hot. Is it some how clogged somewheres or something else?

I would suspect that in replacing the water heater that you dislodged some minerals built up on the pipe walls and now it's blocking the hot water seats and inlet ports of the faucet cartridges. What type of faucets do you have? One handle or two knobs? What's the brand name of the faucets? Let me know. Tom

Water pressure loss [ 3 Answers ]
