    Honeywell thermostat RTH230b not working
I installed the RTH230B (Honeywell) over a year ago. It has been working fine until just lately when I noticed the battery display was blinking indicating that I need to change the batteries. I removed the cover and replace the AA batteries with freshly charged, rechargeable batteries. The front display works fine except that the battery-low display will not stop blinking.

Also, I cannot override the set temperature anymore and the programming feature will not allow me to program the weekend set points. A have the programming guide and went through it with no luck. I tried to power down the unit several times with no success.

Any ideas on my next move?
    Thanks,
    Mark

You might try some regular style batterys in the thermostat. Some models do not like rechargeable batterys.
Make sure the batterys are installed correctly.

Below is a copy of the manual for your thermostat. Just an electronic record for you and it has Honeywells toll free number to call to question the problem or the style of battery you are trying to use.
