I believe that certain aspects of your life are fated. But I also believe that you can determine the minor aspects

I think that every person has a destiny that they were put here to fufill- I don't think many people see what their fate is to be in the end- But I guess yes, fate does put us into play to fulfill the role we were meant to play. But that is just a belief. The same as a christian believes in god. There is no scientific proof he exists, but he exists to them because they believe

You determine your fate. It is not predetermined for you. Everyday you have actions that have an equal and opposite reaction. Your decisions today affect what you do tomorrow *OH THE Clichés!*. You control your destiny. Its simple simon!

Portraying your life as "fated" is a complete cop-out. No way. No way you can blame the stars for the idiotic and stupid and selfish things we do, the situations MOST people get themselves into, then point their finger at someone nearby... unless there's no one around... then they point their finger at fate.

    PUH-LEASE!

The only universal truth is cause and effect. You do certain things, expect the COMMON result. But noooooo, everyone believes they're special, and things could never be what they seem... cause I'm in love... or I'm determined... sex is just a play toy... people need to do what "I" want because I'm right... don't tell me nothing 'cause "I" know what's best... OMG.

    (Calms down from the rant)

Sorry, questions like this really REALLY make me angry. There is SO much to do, SO much to accomplish, SO much GOOD waiting for YOU to take the horns and make a go for it... and SO much gets skipped because instead, we act dumb and don't/won't/can't take responsibility.

[sarcasm=on]Yeah, the stars made me do it. The stars want your girlfriend to cheat on you and your babies to be born fatherless and your homes to be broken. Yeah, THAT'S what the stars would want.[/sarcasm]

    Right?

No. Fate is just another word for "I can't seem to control myself/my life. Please feel sorry for me."

(steps down, puts soap box away)
