    Generator voltage 440
I have a Coleman Powermate 5000. Ran well last year in snow power outage. Pluged it in this year and lost several TV and computers. Checked all the plugs and wireing, and at last found the generator was putting out 220 on each leg of the 220, and putting out 220 on the 110 side. What's wrong?

Since your getting regulation, this seems as if something is shorted. Could be connections to the outlets or could be a winding. Without a wiring diagram, it's difficult to suggest a course of action.
