GE Gas Dryer won't ignite

I have a GE heavy duty automatic dry control dryer equipped with an intermittent type ignition device and was working fine last week and now the pilot light (if there is one) does not seem to doing it's job - everything else works except it does not get hot - any help out there ! ! :confused:
