    Dad's Hospital Debt
My dad was recently hospitalized, and he is un-insured. The only income my parents currently receive is from social security, and its very minimal. I know that when the bills for this hospital visit start coming in, they will not be able to pay them. My question is - legally, what can the hospital take from them? The only assets they have are a home, and 2 cars which are both paid for. There are NO bank accounts or cash. Can the hospital garnish social security income? Can they sue for the house? We are in Ohio.
    Thank you.
