Okay I'll try to make a long story short here. Okay, I've been with my man for 15 years we have 1 child and are normally pretty happy he began drinking about 5 years ago and when he drinks he becomes violent in ways such as throwing things and breaking things around my home, he becomes mentally abusive as well as emotionally abusive so I am not excactly happy with him all together. I have asked him to move out of my home and he just stops drinking for about a week and then thinks it's all okay again.. but it's not with me! He doesn't do this in front of our kid by the way only to me he is two people when drinking.
Well here's the problem I'm having, about 1 year ago I kicked him out and he did actually leave for about 2 months. During this time I went out with girlfriends on weekends and ended up meeting an awesome guy. We started to hang out more and more often but then I get a call from my man saying he stopped drinking and he wants to come home. Well me being stupid says OK now remember we've been together for 15 years so I know that's why I was so quick to let him come back home. So he ends up moving back in and out one night meets the guy I was honestly really falling for. The guy had nothing but respect and never said a thing about our time spent together, Now here comes the kicker... lol they become friends and have been now for about a year!! I'm around this other man who I still have feelings for all the time except now my man is there too!! Me and the other man have talked briefly about "us" and he says he has too much respect for his now new "friend" (my man) to EVER be anything more than friends with me but that he does have feelings for me too. I want to leave my boyfriend but it's very hard when he lives in my home and refuses to go when I ask. I've tried talking to my boyfriend and asking him to move out but he just says I live here too I have nowhere to go and it's exhausting arguing about it I don't know what to do! I tried calling the police and that's never good but I did it and asked them to remove him one night when he was drunk and they said sorry mam this is his residence too we cannot make him leave. I love him but am no longer in love with him I've asked him to leave he won't and I am falling in love with this other guy who is now friends with him!! WHAT DO I DO HERE?? PLEASE HELP ME! Thanks!

Wow! That's quite a situation...

It is very difficult for you if he refuses to leave. I guess if that's what you really want then keep pushing it and maybe even seek legal advice on what to do about it?

For anything to happen between you and this other guy, you current boyfriend has to go! If you can get him to leave and no longer be stuck living with him then you will have a better chance of developing a romantic relationship with the other man.
