    Engagement Etiquette
My boyfriend and I are planning on getting engaged soon. He has a three year old son from his previous marriage. I know that is proper to inform children of engagement soon after the proposal but what do we do with for a young child... and the ex wife?

If the child lives close take him out and let his dad tell him, and then after that have dinner or soemthing together but its better to have the parent tell the child about a pending marriage and let him ask all the questions he wants let him feel part of your family..

    Good luck
