    Manual transmission shift shaft seal
    Can anyone tell me where I can buy a shift shaft seal for a 94 ford ranger? I can't seem to find anyone who sells them.:confused:

    I looked one place and came up with zip, but you didn't give enough info. Auto Parts Fast at RockAuto.

    That's Industrial Supply Equipment from MSC Industrial Supply for the main page.

    If your willing to figure out the dimensions or can read the number off the part and you do a lot of leg "computer" work, you can find the replacement part.

    You may have to buy a $29.00 micrometer or take the seal out to find the model number and manufacturer. Then use man page cross ref numbers.

    I did that for a bearing in a microwave oven. I also upgraded the design in the process. Replaced it with a ceramic bearing.
