    Frigidare dryer
    When I mash the start button the dryer starts and when I let go it stops... is there a safety feature in the button or does it just need replacing

    Leaann2363 - It sounds like the switch is getting weak and wroe out and will need to be replaced sopon. If you do the repair yourself ,First of all turn off the breaker in the main electrical panel , Pull the dryer out from the wall and take the screws out that holds the back panel on . All you need off is the very top piece, then you can get to where you can remove the start switch, draw out a picture of the back side of the switch to where the wires go on the switch. Replace the switch and re hook up wires same way they came off ,replace switch ,the panel and screws, turn on power at the breaker then try deryer out .;;Good luck and GOD BLESS :: F.B.E.
