    Dry toilet bowl!
    I have a 2006 Keystone Springdale 5th Wheel. After you flush the toilet, the bowl fills with water about 2 inches, right? Well, lately when I return to the toilet, the bowl is empty. Dry. Why? Is the seal bad or wearing out from flushing? What?

    Toilets don't "wear out" and a bad seal wouldn't lose water out of the bowl They can lose water out of the bowl through a couple of reasons. Since you left the bowl with water in it we can discount a vent problem.
    That leaves two things. (1) Evaporation. How long did you leave it set? **or** (2) a crack in the bowl that lets the water drain out over time.
    To check for this you must pull the toilet and set it up on saw horses, fill the bowl with water amd watch for leaks. There is a third but it's kind of off the wall. If there's a rag that's caught up in the throat it could possibly suck the water out of the bowl through capillary action. (told you it was "off da wall") Let me know what you find. Good luck, Tom

The water was leaking from the bowl of our toilet and we were getting "phantom flushes"... water was also seen trickling into bowl... SO, we replaced the whole toilet as it was pretty darn old. Fix a toilet that has all the water missing from the toilet (not the bowl)? The toilet was running ever so slightly. When I used it this morning, all the watrer was missig form the tank, when I flushed the toilet nothing happened. I'm stumped!

How can I get a cell phone out of my toilet that was accidentally flushed? I can feel it wedged in the very back of the bowl. I have used a wire coat hanger and even tried hitting it with a hammer, but it won't budge. Please help me!
