Spouse can stay back in US on L2 when L1 can leave US on a temporary travel
    Hi,

I'm on L1. If I travel outside US for a short period, can my dependents on L2 stay back in US? Do we need to do something on that front explicitly?

    Your answer is appreciated.

It depends on condition of your trip.. if your status with the employer is not terminated on visa reasons, your spouse can stay.
