I am building an in-law apartment how would I use my well to supply water to this apartment approximately 100 feet away?

Find the line coming out of the well (normally plastic) and measure the size.

Get a plastic Y or tee fitting that will fit this pipe, and 2 stainless steel clamps big enough to go around the pipe, and enough pipe to run to new unit.

You can cut the pipe anywhere between the pump (well) and where it goes into your existing house.

Insert the fitting into the line where you made the cut and use the clamps to hold it securely in place.

You can now run a new pipe from the tee to the apartment.

Make sure you have plenty of pressure, as you will lose some by adding another living unit.

Be sure you protect everything from freezing.

    Good luck

The bladder tank is probably used to give you immediate water at good pressure when you turn it on.

You will have to tap the line "beyond" the tank and then run back to the apt, or tap the line somewhere before the tank, and then add a similar tank in the apt.

I think the adding another tank would prove most satisfactory.
