    Looking for a book title
    Hello,
    I am looking for the title of a book.

    I think it is set in England in the 80's. It begins with a 19-year-old daughter in the barn with the head of her father and a hatchet and saying something like "I did it and I'm not sorry".

    The book revolves around two police detectives, one, some type of aristocrat and a womanizer. The other named Barbara with a huge complex.

    In the end they discover that dad molested his daughters.

    Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

    Ahh, I have finally figured it out. In case anyone cares the book is titled “A Great Deliverance” by Elizabeth George.
    Its very good, and I didn’t ruin too much of the plot.
