    Job as an auctioneer!
    HI there,

So I just recently met someone that is an auctioneer and divulged to me that he makes $100,000 to $150,000 a year doing what he does. And he gets to travel a lot. Is this typical of this type of career?

    Hi, Momma!

Traveling, yes. But, making that kind of money, no.

If an auctioneer works for one of few, largest auction firms in the world, then it might not be unusual for them to be making money in the six-figure category.

An auctioneer who operates in a very large, or travels to very large metropolitan areas, might also bring in some very large bucks. However, for most auctioneers, it's just not that way.

Auctioneering is in part an art, the more experienced you are at it and how good you really are, the potentially more that you might make.

Some statistics as to what they might make can be found via clicking on the following link.
