My ancestry to France is from Luxembuorg.
My question goes to the process of tracing this heritage for the eventual purpose of dual citizenship in France? In Luxembourg?

My grandmother was from Luxembourg ( the borders of France, luxenbourg, Germany then were often blurred as they changed quite often then -prior to ww2), she married a German man and settled there.

My mother an immigrant through Ellis Island with all the rest became a citizen here in the early 50's.
