    Stoichiometry
A test tube weighs 10.72g when it is empty, and 13.22g with the potassium chlorate/potassium chloride mixture placed in it. After heaating the test tube until a glowing splint does not re-ignite, the test tube weighs 12.93g.

    I need to know:
How many moles of oxygen were produced?
How many moles of potassium chlorate exist?

    Potassium chlorate-KClO3
    Potassium chloride-KCl

Stoichiometry and Enthalpy [ 1 Answers ]

I'm reviewing for a test and stumbled upon this question: What mass of natural gas (CH4) must you burn to emit 261 kJ of heat? CH4 + 2O2 --> CO2 + 2H2O (delta) H rxn = -802.3 kJ I know it involves stoichiometry, but I'm stumped on how to solve it! Any help would be great thanks!
