    Moles
    Im having trouble with the moles steps. I know there's 3 steps, I need help with step to moles to moles.

    Question: If 12 moles of Al2O3 are produced, how many moles of aluminum reacted?

    Write the equation!

    Al ---> Al2O3 (we don't need to include the O2 to facilitate your understanding)

    When the Al is balanced, 2Al ---> Al2O3

    You see that 2 moles of Al will form 1 mole of Al2O3. So, can you do it now?
