    Frigidaire dryer losing power.
Why is my dryer losing power? I have a Frigidaire front load dryer. The heating element shuts off after about two minutes when I first turn on and then comes on in after a minute and then shut off in the same minute. How do I determine where the power lose is coming from, I checked all the Thermo Fuses for continuity and they do have it.

I had a dryer that seemed to be leaving clothing damp. After it started a 150,000 fire in my home, the insurance company determined that the cause was a faulty thermocouple.

Please don't take chances. Get it checked by a professional.
