It just my suggestion.
1st, have a positive and a desire to change your body (YES, YOU CAN, just depend on how you shape it)..
2nd, I don't know what kind thing that you mean doing properly, but was it works your muscle (your entire body)? If not, try to more active (body building would help)
3rd, eat sufficient nutrient, drink more water (not tea, coffee, soda, etc) and rest well
Maybe you will get down sometimes (normal, we are human, aren't we? ) then see for the 1st rule..
Join any sport community may help too, please give it a try
