    Dual citizenship
My father is american military and my mother is french . I was born in france on an american military base. Does that automatically give me dual citizenship. How do I find out. Where do I start.

    1. Were your parents legally married?
    2. Did your father report your birth to the US consulate in France after you were born?

If the answers are yes... you should have both French and US birth certificates, and yes, you are US citizen.

There are more specific details but I need to know more about your profile, etc.
