    I need some help for this equation

    need to combine like terms .then solve and simplify


    x+6=2x+5

    Hello Sandy !

    x+6=2x+5 --> (move +x to right - becoming there -x)
    6=2x+5-x ---> (move +5 to left - becoming -5 there)
    6-5=2x-x ----> (solve)
    1=x

    Simple, isn't it?
