Two weeks ago we had an argument I said some hurtful things and she left when I tried calling to get her back she put a restaining order. Said she wants to be left alone but she left most of her stuff behind how do I know if she is coming back or if I should file for divorce?

It is not fair to the people attempting to answer when you post half a question - this should be combined with your other post concerning her green card status.

I don't think you should render any type of drastic life-changing decision at this time. I know you said some bad things to her and she slapped a restraining order in your face... leave her be. Give her sometime to think about the marriage and the situation, she may come around and she may not... you know that there are other things in the marriage she is weighing out and not just this fight. Your not telling us everything and we just of it so wait for her to come around and discuss the details then. If you do get in touch with her just appologize and say I understand and love you. Take as much time as you need and I will be waiting. If you love her, give her this time and depending on the circumstances being weighed if she loves you she will forgive you. If you hurt her badly all the time... maybe she will love herself more and leave. I can not justify or answer your post... extremely vague. Honestly though, give her time and space... this is a good time for you to reflect on yourself and your marriage as well... use this time wisely there is a lesson to be learned.
