    Green mucus nose
    Hi my son has just bought a dog from local dog resue when he has brought it home it has a green mucus coming from its nose is this harmfull to us ormy other dog:confused:

    It probably means that your dog has a respiratory infection. Probably not serious to the humans, your other dog could get it. Take the new dog to a vet for an initial check-up and they will be able to give you something for it.

    Bring the dog to the vet for some antibiotices. Thi can be spreadavble to other dogs,

    Green mucus is not something that's "normal" for a dog. He just needs a little meds, is all... no big deal.

    Dog get viruses too... sometimes they're contageous. This is easy to fix... even if your other dog get "infected".

    Plus any new dog that's either a puppy or an adult rescue always needs a visit to the vet in order to have a clean bill of health...
