    Rental Insurance
    I have heard that effective 01/01/2009 that it will be mandatory for all apartment dwellers in the State Of Texas to have Renters Insurance on there Personal Property inside there apartment. Is this true?

    No, have not heard of it It may be your specific apartment complex is going to require it.

    It may not be a law, but it's a good idea. If there's a flood or fire, can you afford to replace all your items? When you sit down and start listing everything you own, especially electronics, it adds up fast.
