    Section 8 Housing
    My question is how long can a tenant be gone from their apartment that is being paid for with section 8 money, say this person has to be sent to a long term care faculity, does HUD have a definite rule on this?

    I don't quite understand the question - what are you asking? How long would Section 8 pay for the apartment? How long before the tenant is formally evicted? Would the government pay for both the apartment and the long-term care facility?
