    Shower handle
The handle in the shower is stripped so the water continues to drip after turning off, I purchased a new handle but the screw on the old one is so stripped it won't turn, how can I remove the screw?

Drill out the head of the screw with a small drill bit and use an easy out, spray some WD-40 leave it for a few minutes to soak and try the easy out, good luck.

OK! You have removed the handle . Is the stem stripped as well or can you attach the new handle? If the stem's strpped also they make handles to fit on a stem that's stripped. Let me know if you need such a handle. Tom

Shower Handle [ 1 Answers ]

The single handle shower control knob needs to be turned slightly on to prevent dripping at the faucet when turned off. I also can't seem to get the water hot enough for my shower. Am I just catching the water heater at a "down" cycle or is something deteriorating in the handle mechanism?
