I am a manager of a company with no more than 20 employees. I will be coming up on 3 years with the company and I always here stories from the older employees, about how the company used to do fun activities with the employees. (Vacations, dinners, etc.) I want to get my boss back into the spirit of doing all this again, but I need to come up with some ideas first. Not including vacations.

I was already thinking of bowling, baseball games, golf and then that's when I draw a blank.

Also I was looking into appropriate anniversary gifts for our employees. Now to get an idea of who I work with, it is mostly middle aged men who are just middle class, nothing fancy about them. I was thinking of a nice winter jacket, watch... and then that's when I draw another blank.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

Why don't you plan a nice holiday party for them this year. And include their spouses.
