    My cats got a lump
My Kitten is 7 months old she was fixed about two weeks ago now and since has developed a semi hard lump directly right to her scar. She is acting normal very happy and eating well however we have noticed that it does not seem to be going away... Do we worry?

If it a lump it should be checked at a Animal Clinic immediately. I am saying this because if you wait to get it checked it could be too late. It can be anything from a cyst, small tumor, infection, or lymphoma. My kitten had several lumps all over his body after only a year after getting him neutered. The hospital diagnosed him with lymphoma and he passed away 2 weeks later. Just try to get the cat in immediately. Just to warn you though, most animal hospitals are expensive with treatments. Good luck.

Lump could be just scar tissue forming, but I agree she should be checked right away. The scar should have formed smooth, so there could be an infection.

My kittens had an injection few weeks ago but they still have a lump. I did take them to the vet and he said it's nothing to worry about.
But best you still go and get it checked out.
