I'm taking a business class. I'm doing a project about starting up a small business. It has to be something that we don't have in our community. I have chosen to start up an ice skating rink. I searched online, but still could not find the total answer for this project. I keep on getting a total for an arena ice skating rink. I need a smaller rink, size 200 ft long and 85 ft wide. I need a good size building capaticy to seat 300-500 people. Could someone please inform me the total expense.

If this is about starting the business, how about taking the figures that you do find online and adjusting them to the size of the business that you are wanting to start?

From what I have learned about some of the classes that you are taking, it would appear that for this question, you are supposed to put together a business plan for this type of business. Would that be correct?

If so, then I would think that the accuracy of the dimensions and total cost would not be as important and would just figure into the other details that would involve starting that kind of business.
