The best relationship!
Is anyone actually in a good relationship? If yes, write your stories here, because I as well as others are going though heartbreak and reading all these threads is making me lose some inspiration for future love. Write your good relationship stories for some good inspiration ! :)

I'll be the first to say that I went through HELL in my last break up. I met a terrific girl in February, as she was ending her relationship as well. We started talking strictly as friends and only at work. Slowly things grew into talking through texts and then phone calls and then hanging out. From the first time I kissed her I knew I wanted to be with her, we have been together ever since. We have had A LOT of obstacles with her ex, her ex's parents and dealing with all of that but it only made us closer.
Currently, we are living together. Yes, I know it seems fast but a lot happened with her living arrangements that this situation worked out the way it did. Definitely the best decision we have made. She has 2 kids, who I look at as my own and they are living with us as well. We have talked everyday for the past 7-8 months and still haven't run out of things to talk about. I find things I love about her everyday. I truly feel as though I found my soul mate.
NONE of this would be possible without realizing my mistakes from my previous relationship. Jealousy was a huge factor in my last one ending, I have corrected that and have stayed the path of not letting it dictate our lives as a couple one bit. Another thing, we both communicate with each other very well when something is bothering us, which prevents arguing. Not saying we don't argue, because we do but they don't last nearly as long as they would without communication and compromise. I owe everything to this forum and the people on it.

I broke up with my ex last month and am already in a new relationship (yes, I know it's soon) but I was ready..
So far this relationship is going great, this guy is polar opposite of my ex boyfriend and he's very good to me.. he's definitely a gem.. so far so good, I hope we are going to work out.. So, I don't really have a story yet, but maybe this gives you hope that there is life after heartbreak! I found someone 1 million times better for me than I ever thought possible
I learned a lot from my past relationship as well that I'm carrying on to my new one.. we always can learn from heartbreak, it makes us who we are, and we grow and become better people from it.. I wouldn't take any of it back for a second.

I had some rough times with my current relationship, but right now things are on the up. We are spending time working on us... and even though things aren't absolutely where we want them to be, we're doing what we want to do and we're happy... We just forgot about what was important... now that we found it again, we're embracing it instead of trying to fight it...

My relationship started 18 years ago, when we were both 19. I had a lot of bad relationships in the past, abusive, unloving, uncaring, you name it, I've dated it. I was at a pretty low point in my life when I met my hubby.
He's the best man I know, he's my best friend, my lover, my partner in every way. We've been married for 13 years and have two beautiful children together. We argue, boy do we ever, can't help it, I'm stubborn, so is he. But, after 18 years of being together the arguments don't last long, and neither one of us is afraid to apologize, and making up is always wonderful. ;)
He's my partner for life, I look forward to growing old with him, holding grandchildren with him, standing by the door with a shotgun when our daughter is on a date, telling our son to respect women and treat them like gold, paying for weddings, college, and then rocking on our front porch together watching the sun set. He's mine, and I love him.
Don't give up on love, and remember, everything happens for a reason. :)
