Is MTP safe at this stage for my future Babies?
I am a newly married person. Recently I got to know that my wife is pregnant, her last menstural cycle stopped at 8th may 2008 (so she is in 2nd trimester, about 4 months completed), but we both don't want to have that. It is her first pregnancy. I consulted to many gynaecologists for MTP(Medical termination of pregnancy) at this stage. Some says that it is completely safe at this stage while some says that it will become a problem if we will plan for the baby in future.
Now I want to know whether it is safe for us in future if we will go for MTP or not. Secondly if yes then what kind of problems we come to face for planning baby in future.

I don't know where you live, but where I am from this is illegal.

If her period started around May 1, she would be 19 weeks right now, so almost 5 months into her pregnancy.

I don't know of any doctor who would ethically terminate a pregnancy at this point in time.

Why did you wait so long? Looks like you are going to be a father. If you aren't ready for that, think about adoption. Abortion of any kind is too late now.
