    One sided court hearing
I live in Louisiana. The father of my boys has been in and out of jail. He has not gotten in trouble since 2005 but his reputation just says he has not been caught yet. He was recently awarded every other weekend and every other wed. He he has to drop them off Thursday morning. He does not even have a car and lives 20 min. away as opposed to me living 5 min away from school. On top of that I was planning to move for a possible better job opportunity. Now I am stuck. I am also afraid of the well being of my boys. Their father is a druggie and possibly drug dealer. The judge seemed to commend the father on his good behavior for the last 3 years, ignored the fact that he has not seen his children in over a year and has never provided child support in the past 3 years. I feel I did not get my voice heard. Can I appeal the judges decision successfully or do I have to live with this decision?

If he has been in jail or prison there is an official record , if he is wanted, there will be a warrant out for his arrest, so just have the police waiting for him when he comes to pick them up.

If you have no proof then you have no grounds for an apeal. The proof has to come first so hiring a PI wouldn't be a bad idea just keep in mind that you might learn that he isn't doing drugs or dealing them (I'm not arguing with your guess that he is it is just a possibility). How long has that arrangement been in place? That will also factor into if you can get a modification.
