    Windows media player
    I have a film which is a major project (im talking about life and death project). When I try to play them in windows media player, or edit them in windows movie maker, there is no picture, only sound... what's worng with it?

    You don't have all the codec to properly view the video part. You'll have to download a newer version of WMP from Microsoft.

    But that shouldn't have any effect on movie maker... should it?

    Yes, CODECs are the process by which video is encoded and decoded by the OPERATING SYSTEM. That means it could definitely have a negative effect across all programs needing a codec that is out of date or not installed.

    If codec you need to watch in WMP is not installed, you cannot view
